Vivian Ochoa

Vivian is originally from Guatemala and has 22 years of cross cultural experience in the global south and north (Papua New Guinea, Peru, South Asia, South Carolina, West Africa and Spain). She holds an MA in Pastoral Counseling from CIU in South Carolina. In Africa and Spain, she has been serving with pastoral counseling, crisis response, spiritual formation, and training of cross cultural workers. She has been in Spain for seven years.  She is excited to serve with Imago Christi from there!

Vivian’s calling is to be with God in worship and intimacy.  This is what led her to join Imago Christi at the end of 2024.  As she IS with the Lord, she feels called to partner with Him and others in order to care for workers and leaders, encouraging them in their personal walk with the Lord, inviting them to intimacy with im.

She completed the Deepen Spiritual Formation/Direction training of SentWell in 2020 and is now part of the Deepen staff, leading cohort small groups.  She is also working as part of a team translating the Imago Christi Discovery retreat/program into Spanish so that it can be used for latino leaders around the world.  Her calling includes serving English and Spanish speaking workers around the world with spiritual direction, retreats, debriefing and other ways of care.

Vivian enjoys walks in nature, bird-watching, gardening, and one-on-one conversations.
